Before we dive in…
If you’re in the healing space, chances are you’ve felt some tension around this topic. Heck, you might even be noticing that sensation in your body right now!
The intention for this email is to normalize conversations with money. To take an empowered and embodied approach to wealth.
The holistic healing industry has a long, complicated relationship with money—one that blocks even the most gifted practitioners from making the impact they’re here to make in the world.
I work with seven-figure spa owners who often tell me they feel guilty talking about their success—like earning more without doing more somehow makes them less heart-centered.
And I also hear from practitioners who say, “I’m not in it for the money,” while quietly burning out, chasing clients, and wondering why it still feels like survival.
Here’s what I’ve come to believe:
✨ Talking about money doesn’t make you greedy.
✨ Avoiding it doesn’t make you more spiritual.
✨ And money is not the goal—it’s a mirror.
It reflects your energy. Your impact. Your sustainability. And it reveals what your business is asking of you in order to grow.
So yes—this post includes numbers. But it’s not really about the numbers.
It’s about what those numbers required of me. And what I’ve since reclaimed.
My First $10K Month
When I was still practicing massage full-time, $10K felt like the holy grail.
That number was written in journals, posted on vision boards, etched in my mind as the moment I’d “make it.”
And eventually, I did.
I hit $10K in a single month… by seeing nearly 100 clients.
It was exciting. And it nearly broke me.
I was booked solid, physically depleted, and emotionally disconnected. And even with the income goal met, I felt no closer to the life I actually wanted.
Recently, one of our BodyMind Members described the time-for-money model as “disturbingly grotesque.” Telling clients to “listen to their body” while working in a way that forces us to ignore our own. At the time, I didn’t have those words—but that feeling was real.
And that’s when the deeper question surfaced: If this is what $10K takes… do I actually want it?
My First $20K Month
That question cracked something open.
I began to reimagine what success could look like—not just financially, but energetically. How could I earn more without giving more of myself away?
The shift came when I stopped selling sessions and started offering containers of support.
Not just appointments.
Not just transactions.
But a structured space for transformation.
That’s what led to my first $20K month.
Not more clients—just a new way of serving them.
My clients committed to 3-, 6-, or 9-month programs.
They showed up more deeply.
And so did I.
No more cramming insights into the 15 minutes between sessions.
No more overdelivering just to prove my value.
Instead, I guided them through a clear process—one that helped them listen to their body, trust their intuition, and take aligned action.
I remember celebrating that $20K month not because it was more money—
but because it felt like more me.
More aligned. More easeful.
More rooted in results that actually lasted.
And I hit that $20K month with just 20 clients.
Not 100. Not chaos. Not burnout. Just clear structure, committed clients, and a model that finally supported me, too.
My First $100K Month
Between that $20K month and my first $100K month, I started noticing something: Patterns. Repeats. A rhythm to the transformation.
Clients kept hitting the same stuck points…
asking similar questions…
naming similar desires.
So I began documenting everything.
I created resources. Wrote content. Built tools.
I systemized what I had once done intuitively—and gave it to my clients so they could deepen their growth between sessions.
That’s when I realized:
I had a method— The BodyMind Method©.
And I started to leverage it.
I set up automations.
Launched online courses.
And most importantly—I stopped doing it all by hand.
Somewhere in the middle of this, I had a vision:
my hands, moving through the hands of other practitioners.
That vision became The BodyMind Coaching Certification Program.
(Fun fact: Every BodyMind Coach goes through the very program I first created for my massage clients—and they’re trained to deliver that same process, with done for you resources to streamline and automate, to theirs.)
The leap to $100K months wasn’t about pushing harder.
It was about simplifying.
Systemizing.
And allowing myself to be supported— a lot.
I hired a team. I learned to delegate.
And I really learned how to receive.
That’s when things scaled—without adding more to my plate.
(And yes, that $100K month was followed by a $200K month. Because when your energy is clear and your systems are aligned… momentum follows.)
And Now?
When I had my first 7-figure year, I thought I’d finally arrived.
And for a moment—I had.
I celebrated. I exhaled. I felt proud.
But it didn’t take long before the goalpost moved again.
Suddenly, it was about building 8-figure businesses.
And I found myself wondering, Should I want that too?
This was also when my son was born.
And everything shifted.
Those big financial milestones showed me what’s possible—
but they also reminded me that money is never the point.
I had my first 7-figure year with just 84 clients.
Not a massive audience. Not a complicated funnel.
Just depth, alignment, and a method that delivers lasting transformation.
Now I know…
It’s not about how much.
It’s not about how big.
And it’s certainly not about more for the sake of more.
What matters most is what your business makes possible.
These days, I’m not chasing growth for the sake of growth.
I’m building the right-sized business for this season of my life.
One rooted in clarity, profit, and joy.
One that supports my family, my team, my clients, and the change I’m here to create in the world.
I’m proud of what I’ve built.
And I’m deeply proud of the ripple effect of The BodyMind Method©—reaching clients, practitioners, and communities across the globe.
Yes—the 8-figure business is on its way in.
But it’s no longer the focus.
That kind of growth will be the result—
of honoring my energy, following my alignment, and sharing my journey.
And I’m here to help you do the same.
